DESCRIPTION:One year since we spent a beautiful Summer evening\, we’re returning to Crook Hall Gardens. It’s also the anniversary of the official opening\, since National Trust took ownership there have been an incredible 55\,000 visitors through the gates! This historically important place\, is once again a cherished part of the community\, and their latest project is a second-hand library\, we ask your entry to the evening is a book/s to add to their collection. \nWe will also hear from Liz McCarthy of Artichoke bringing some exciting Lumiere 2023 news. \nDBC Members and invited guests welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Back to our annual netwalk at Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve\, let’s go around again! \nJoin Emily and the team for a wild breakfast and a wildlife wellbeing walk around Rainton Meadows and Joe’s Pond nature reserves. Find out how Durham Wildlife Trust manage their sites for wildlife\, how they educate and engage with their members and what you can do to support reversing ecological decline and conserving wildlife in our region. \nFollowing breakfast at 9 am\, we will enjoy a short walk with good paths at a beautiful time of year. Please bring a reusable cup to bring your coffee on the walk.\nDogs on leads welcome. \nAs numbers are limited we must restrict this event to DBC Members Only\, on a first come\, first served basis. We ask that only one person per company to maximise the number of member businesses that can come along. \n
