DESCRIPTION:Some venues are worth going the extra mile for\, and that is so true of the Lord Crewe Arms snug on the southern edge of Northumberland and just across the border from County Durham\, lies the beautiful honey-stone village of Blanchland.\nBuilt in 1165\, Lord Crewe Arms began life as a guest house for Blanchland Abbey\, a magical place\, thread by heritage\, culture and unflinching love of the moors..  \nFollowing our networking breakfast (weather permitting in the beautiful hotel garden) we will have a tour of the Abbey\, steeped in history it’s a place of tranquility and prayer\, we will end the morning with a walk around the village (wear your comfy shoes) \nLimited parking on site\, additional parking in the village\, with honesty box.. \nNote the slightly later start time to allow for your journey.
