Find out how Durham Wildlife Trust manage their sites for wildlife\, how they educate and engage with their members and what you can do to support reversing ecological decline and conserving wildlife in our region. \nFollowing breakfast at 9 am\, we will enjoy a short walk with good paths at a beautiful time of year. However\, do wrap up ready for changing weather conditions and wear closed (no sandals) comfortable footwear.\nPlease bring a reusable cup to bring your coffee on the walk.\nDogs on leads welcome. \nAs numbers are limited we must restrict this event to DBC Members Only\, on a first come\, first served basis. DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to return to The Food Pit\, Riverwalk Durham\, and see how it has gone from strenght to strength since our last visit in 2019! With a wider range of world food kiosks\, a bar and\, of course\, those views of Durham Castle and Cathedral spectacular as ever. \nWe will end the event with a guided tour of the fabulous new The Curious Mr Fox \nAlthough we are hopeful restrictions will be lifted by then\, for now\, we are limiting this event to 30 attendees\, members only\, on a first come\, first served basis.
